It was about this time last year when we were wrapping up our debut album, Off the Record. I think we would all be considered more “live” musicians than studio enthusiasts. Off the Record reflects this with the exception of the final track, Deeper. The instrumental was recorded by guitarist, Will ’4-Real’ Collins, on two takes with a midi controller. Pair this with Hardaway’s rhymes, a few backup vocals, and voila — it’s on the album. Almost a year later, we shamefully admit we have not attempted to recreate Deeper live. That is, until now! Three beers deep into practice Lucian fumbles a few notes that sound too familiar. The end result was our first live take at song that has been lost in the archives. Tomorrow night it will be performed live at the legendary Party on the Patio in Fayetteville, Arkansas concluding the 2010 Summer Concert Series. Show starts at 8:30PM sharp. We’ll see you there!

Deeper (Live at The Commoners’ Studio)

It’s The Commoners last “Party on the Patio” of the year! Join us on Thursday, July 22, at Powerhouse Seafood & Grill as we revel in one of greatest summer traditions in Northwest Arkansas.
